P Street (Washington, D.C.)

P Street NW, Washington, D.C., runs from the eastern boundary of Georgetown University (at 37th Street NW) to North Capitol Street NW, with an additional section running from the western edge of Georgetown University to Foxhall Road NW.

P Street NE runs the short distance from North Capitol Street to Florida Avenue NE.

The P Street Bridge crosses Rock Creek and the Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway; P Street crosses Dupont Circle and Logan Circle.

The Dupont Circle Citizens Association was founded in 1922 in a townhouse at 1767 P Street, to "promote and protect the interests of the residents of the Dupont Circle area".[1]
